You are expected to monitor the CHS Portal frequently to stay up to date on your progress in Astronomy.
All grades will be posted on the CHS Portal as soon as possible after each assessment.
***Professional Ethics and Responsibility: You will begin each nine weeks grading period with 60/60 points as your professional ethics grade. Ten (10) points will be deducted each time you miss a deadline related to the class (assignment submissions, discussion board posts, presentations not ready, etc.) Five (5) points will be deducted each time participation in class is lacking. You are required to bring a charged iPad to class each day, participate in all collaborative lessons, add to discussions during class, and to watch all documentaries without the distraction of technological devices.
Progress reports will be printed. Students with a 75% or lower will be required to return the report signed by a parent or guardian by the next day of class.
